Bringing Community Together

Studio Phax was delighted to celebrate the grand opening of our Serangoon Central Community Space & Market on Sunday, 27 September 2026.

We were honoured to welcome Guest of Honour Mr Seah Kian Peng, Speaker of Parliament and MP for Marine Parade–Braddell Heights GRC. Our Principal, Pey Haw, had the pleasure of introducing the project and sharing the design intentions behind the space.

Seeing residents, stallholders and visitors shopping, dining and connecting was especially rewarding—a meaningful reflection of our aim to create welcoming places that bring people together.

Thank you to our client, consultants, contractors and everyone who helped bring this project to life.

Welcoming Our Vietnam Clients to Studio Phax

Last month, Studio Phax had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Mekong Group, Pachira and A8 to our Singapore studio.

The visit brought together the clients and project partners behind two of our new projects in Ho Chi Min City, Vietnam. It was a meaningful opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss the design vision and priorities for both projects, and strengthen the collaboration among our teams.

We look forward to working closely with Mekong Group, Pachira and A8 to create thoughtful, people-centred developments that respond meaningfully to their communities, climate and local context.

We thank our guests for visiting Studio Phax and for the trust placed in our team. We are excited about the journey ahead and look forward to bringing these two projects to life.

2 Years On...

Today marks the 2nd anniversary of Studio Phax.

It has been quite a journey — from starting as a one-man operation to growing into a small team of four.

In retrospect, the decision to start Studio Phax was probably one of the boldest decisions we have ever made.

Amidst all the uncertainty and risks, we told ourselves from the very beginning that if we were going to make this work, we had to put our whole hearts into it. That commitment has remained a guiding principle in our practice ever since.

Along the way, we have been incredibly fortunate to receive support from clients, collaborators, friends, colleagues, ex-colleagues, ex-classmates, and many others who believed in us. Our sincerest gratitude goes out to every one of you.

As we move into our third year, we will continue to approach every project we undertake with the same sincerity, commitment, and effort that brought us this far.

Two years down, and still plenty to learn and improve.

A big thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
